New Year, New Goals 2021

Hello, if you have made it to my blog page, I am eternally grateful for you! Considering we are already in February, I know this post comes a little late. But you know the saying, better late than never. I have been working super hard to create new blog content and I figured this is definitely where I should start. Everyone always has personal goals going into the new year. As a business owner and freelancer, it is especially important to have both personal and business goals. So without further ado, here are my 2021 Goals!

Now when it comes to goals, I think slightly different than how most people do for their goals. I always choose one word for the year that encapsulates everything it is I want to achieve. Last year, my focus was Simplicity. Looking back at when I had conjured up my goals, I remember thinking “this is the year I keep things simple.” I planned on cutting back, working hard, saving lots, and focusing on pushing hard on new ventures for 2021. Well, 2020 had very different plans for us all and I guess we could technically say that I achieved ultimate simplicity since the pandemic hit and I wasn’t really able to do much, including work. But let’s just put that behind us now and focus on this year.

So for 2021, I had decided that my focus is Consistency. Just as an FYI, I suck at being consistent. It is my biggest struggle. So as an example, personally I want to consistently eat better & healthier, as well as consistently work out. I always have stretches of being healthy and fit and then I follow it with longer stretches of endless pizza or pasta and not leaving the couch. Just typing it makes me want to go do it right now. I also need to be more consistent in my business life. Social Media and content creation is my biggest downfall. I am in awe of people who are able to post 6-10 posts a day on different platforms. Ultimate kudos to you because it is not easy. I always used to say that social media in itself is a full time job and I still stand by that.

Now for my specific business goals, this is what I’ve challenged up for myself:

2021 Business Goals

Business Goal #1: increase website traffic to 100+ per month

Business Goal #2: increase product sales to >$10,000

Business Goal #3: grow newsletter list to 5,000+

When creating goals for myself or my business, I always try to keep in mind that it needs to be a challenge but also realistic. I know these three business goals will keep me pushing all year and I can’t wait to grow.

The way I keep track of how I am doing with my goals is through my 2021 GOAL TRACKER. I track all of my goals down to the month. This way I can visually see how I am doing so far. I am definitely a visual learner so I keep things like this in constant eyesight to remind me to keep going.

If you are interested in keeping track of your own goals with me, you can download my printable 2021 GOAL TRACKER for FREE down below. I even broke it down to a weekly and daily tracker in case you need it!

So now that we are well into 2021, here is a CHEERS TO US! May 2021 provide us all with health, wealth, & happiness.
